Great location and spacious accommodations with all amenities
This is the second year we’ve stayed in this spacious house over Thanksgiving. The six bedrooms each contain multiple beds, thus, easily accommodating our large extended family. The house has everything needed for entertaining and making home cooked meals. The heated pool, hot tub and close proximity to the beach make this an ideal place to stay for families with members of all ages. I highly recommend this property.

Hilton Head perfection
It's very rare today that you actually get MORE than what you expected. However, that is exactly what happened with our recent stay in Hilton Head. The home was close to the beach than expected. The home had more room than we thought it would have and they had more "beach toys" than they advertised, which our grandkids absolutely loved! Everything was in perfect working order and they has an abundance of sleeping options for our young ones. Over all this was a wonderful vacation that our family would like to repeat sometime in the near future.

It was better than we have expected. The bedrooms were great with extra beds in each room to accommodate adults and kids. The main floor with kitchen and eating tables were separate both in close proximity. The outside pool area and pool was absolutely fantastic with easy assess to the beach. We take our family to Hhi every 2 years and would definitely rent this again

Perfect house for multi family vacation
Each bedroom was like it's own suite, perfect for multiple families and large enough for everyone to have space. Close enough to the beach that felt like an on the beach house.

Perfect house. So we’ll stocked with everything. Two dishwashers, two fridge, ice machine. Loved the pool area. Kids had a fun night with the karaoke machine. Definitely will be back.

Summer fun!
Close to the beach! We could see the ocean from the upstairs balcony, yet the house is second row. Lots of room for big families. Huge swimming pool for water play.

Wonderful family vacation
We stayed a week recently with fourteen family members including six grandchildren age four and under. The house was extremely clean and well maintained . The floor plan allowed plenty of room for napping kids to be separated, and large areas where we could all eat or hangout together. It was the perfect location , very close to the beach( which was never crowded). The pool and hot tub were also great .

Headed back for 3rd. consecutive year
We had a very enjoyable stay at 14 Grey Widgeon. It is a wonderful fit for our family of around 20. Especially like the: large inside dining area and living room, pool size and pool area, great Webber gas gril and close proximity to beach.

Another Excellent Property with Coastal Home & Villa
We’ve been renting through Coastal Home & Villa for several years now and always have a great experience. As our family is growing a bit, we enjoyed the extra common areas this house had along with the large outdoor space that we utilized more compared to some other places we have stayed in the past. We easily and comfortably slept our family of 15, including 8 adults and teenagers/kids of various ages. The extra fridge/kitchen area was also an added bonus and fully utilized. The beach was essentially right out the back door. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Great Property!
This is the third time we have rented and hope to rent again next year. The location is perfect and the house is very comfortable and well equipped. Great pool and beach access.

Everything as expected...superb!
We spent a week here in August and is was wonderful. Everything was supplied as expected according to the description on the website. It would have been good to know that they also have 6 boogie boards and a bunch of beach/pool towels before we used up half of our car space on those things. The three Xboxes were a huge hit for the kids as well! The location right on the beach walk was awesome. The pool was awesome (large and deep). The grill was great for large groups. Everything was clean and in good working order. Well done 14 Grey Widgeon!

Beautiful House and Attentive Service
The house was clean and ready for occupancy when we arrived. The staff was quick to respond for calls, both during and after office hours. We had an issue with the dishwasher and it was resolved very fairly and professionally.

Fantastic!
First, I'd like to say, the pictures are beautiful but don't do this house justice! Not to mention, it seems to be a work in progress. Some of the bathrooms have since been updated and are gorgeous. I imagine it will continue to get better and better. The main rooms all look bigger in person and the extra large tables are great for gathering. We were a party of 15 with (7 teens) and had more than enough room....both inside and out! Deeper into Sea Pines than we planned, the location turned out to be spectacular. Second row from the beach with a path directly next to the home. Great sized pool with fantastic hot tub (we opted to heat and it was worth it). The new upper balcony was perfect for kids to have their own space. Completely stocked with ample towels, cutlery, pots, pans, serving dishes, beach chairs & wagon, pool chairs & lounges, 2 large outdoor tables w/umbrellas.....the list goes on. I'm not sure we could have asked for anything more. We'd definitely recommend for rental and hope to return ourselves! Thank you for sharing it with us. I'd also like to thank Coastal Homes and Villas. Talley was extremely easy to work with and very responsive to my questions. I've utilized several rental companies on HH and yours was by far the best to date. The rental process was seemless and efficient. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!! Wonderful grill, 2 very large refrigerators, 2 stovetops, 2 microwaves plus oven, plenty of counter space and the ice maker was amazing!

This home was near perfect for our large family. the house is set up for families with bunk beds in nearly every bedroom. just a 3 minute walk to the beach. The home worked so well for us that we reserved it again for next year.

Gorgeous!
What a terrific house and location. Huge house with a well layed out open concept so it feels even bigger. We slept seven easily and it could have held many more. Several rooms had multiple beds or bunk beds. Great bedroom to bathroom ratio so that shouldn't be a problem. With a pool, hot tub and being 100 yards from the beach, the kids won't have any problem finding things to do. Wish our stay had been longer!

Best House We've Had
My family has been to HHI over a dozen times and this is easily the best house weve had. Excellent interior. Pool area is amazing and the proximity to the beach is practically like being oceanfront. My only complaint is the living room couch was a little uncomfortable but doable.

Lots of room, incredible location...
This house has definitely been designed to accommodate large groups offering a ton of space for everyone to spread out - in what must be a premier location within Sea Pines with the beach literally just steps away and so close to Salty Dog/Harbour Town. Our group had a blast together between the pool/hot tub/beach - one of the favorite times was grilling outside and eating dinner by the pool. The upstairs balcony is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine at night. Plus they have grocery delivery services and restaurants that with deliver in the area so we never had to leave the property (Annie O's was awesome! Talk to Rich). It is a no-brainer from now on where we are staying when we return to Hilton Head.

We LOVE this house!
We are heading home from an amazing week at 14 Grey Widgeon. The house was perfect and had every amenity we could have asked for. We had so much space in the house for our group of 13 and the kids loved having their own room (and the outdoor spiral staircase). The location was perfect - less than a 30 second walk to the beach - and gorgeous sunrises to see at the beach. The pool was perfect! Lots of room for games and just playing for the kids and plenty of lunge chairs for the adults. The couple of questions we asked during our stay were immediately addressed by Coastal Home & Villa - we’ve been renting homes for family vacations for years and this is by far the best customer service we’ve experienced. We loved it so much we already reserved a week here next summer! You won’t regret staying at 14 Grey Widgeon!

Large Family vacation
This house was great for our extended family of 19. Plenty of space to spread out, and to be together. Pool was large for Sea Pines and had a deeper end which the kids especially loved. Location can't be beat, one house away from beach and right on the path. Also excellent a/c which we haven't always had in our rentals. Lots of beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys. We would love to rent this house again!

August 2018 Stay

GREAT stay!!!
Our family of 11 had a GREAT stay at 14 Grey Widgeon. This house has been thoughtfully renovated and stocked. There was plenty of seating for us all to gather at the table for meals and in the living room for social time. Having 2 refrigerators and the ice machine was very helpful. The pool area was very nice and beach access could not be easier. The house allows for individual privacy when wanted with large bedrooms, multiple seating areas, and nice bathrooms. We had one house malfunction and some technical issues with the TV (Direct TV is not our favorite). The rental agency was incredibly responsive--best we have ever seen and we have been renting vacation homes for over 25 years. Thanks to the owner and to Coastal Home & Villa!
