Your crew will LOVE this five bedroom, five and half bathroom Sea Pines home that can sleep up to twelve guests. 12 Sandhill Crane is located 4th row ocean and has updates throughout! This home is conveniently located right next to a beach path, making it a super easy walk to the beautiful beaches Hilton Head Island has to offer.
This is a dog friendly rental! For an additional fee, you can bring your dog with you on vacation! If you are planning on bring your furry friend, you will need to phone our office in advance to pay the additional fee and confirm your four legged BFF.
The outdoor entertaining area is a fantastic gathering area. The private pool & spa offer complimentary heat seasonally. As long as the temperature doesn't fall below 55 degrees, you are all set to enjoy FREE pool & spa heat March through May & September through November (must call office in advance of your stay to confirm and schedule). There are multiple chaise lounges to soak up the rays by the pool. Looking to escape the sun? Not a problem! The home offers a covered area with a dining table should you want to enjoy a meal outside cooked off the gas grill or to simply play card games with the fam. This home is also outfitted with wireless internet access.
This home has two spacious living areas on the main level of the home. As you walk in the front door - your first living area has a plethora of seating options and a flat screen television. This room flows into the private dining area with seating for eight as well as the open kitchen. The kitchen features an island, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a wet bar and wine fridge. Additional dining seating located around the island in the kitchen and informal table off the living area.
The second living area is just off the kitchen. This living room has a modern feel with upgraded furniture and another flat screen television. A powder room is just off the second living room area as well.
Down the hall on the first level, is the first bedroom with a king bed and flat screen television. This bedroom has a private bath with a walk-in shower.
The laundry room with a washer & dryer is located on the second level. The remaining four bedrooms are also on this level.
The master bedroom has a king bed, flat screen television, and a walk-in closet. The private master bath is quite spacious offering a double vanity, walk in shower, and separate soaking tub.
The third bedroom has a queen bed and a flat screen television. It also features a walk-in closet and private bath with walk-in shower. Bedrooms four and five are idea for the kiddos as they live on the far end of the second level. They both have a pyramid bunk (full bed on bottom and twin bed on top) in them, flat screen televisions, and a private bath with a shower/tub combo.

• Pool Info: 29 feet long with a width between 10-13 feet (kidney shaped pool). The pool and spa are able to be heated seasonally only. Neither will heat if the temperatures drop below 55 degrees at any point during your stay. Must call Coastal Home and Villa at least two weeks prior to your arrival to arrange for pool and spa heat.

Perfect house, location, beach and pool
"I'm very familiar with Sea Pines, starting in the 1960's with my parents renting a house there every summer. I am now continuing that tradition. The house was perfect!! Very spacious for our family and now our in-laws with us. The organization of the kitchen drawers and cabinets was amazing and had every pot,pan,utensil, small appliances you can think of. Having the swimming pool and all the chairs outside was so nice. Very close to the beach and less crowded than other beach areas."
Perfect for Multiple Families
"I just left this house after renting it with 4 different families. It is PERFECT for large groups. The two dens, bedroom layouts, and fact that each bedroom has an en-suite bath make it a dream for multi-family groups -- whether you're super close or all just getting to know one another. The backyard deck and pool area is one of the largest/most private in the neighborhood and beach proximity is incredible. The advertisement says it's a fourth row home, but in actuality...all the houses are fairly close together, making it more like a block or two walk. Additionally, there's a private walking path right out the den door that makes access a breeze. We couldn't recommend this house more -- from layout, to cleanliness, to the friendliness and high level of engagement (as needed) from the property management group....this is a 5-star house and operation. Rent it NOW!"
"12 Sandhill Crane is a fantastic home. We have vacationed in Hilton Head for years, but this is the first time we had stayed at 12 Sandhill Crane. We will be coming back in 2019, and many years to come. The house is spacious, well appointed and very clean. The beach path is directly behind the house, which made the early morning strolls to the beach very easy. The proximity to the beach club and golf course is a significant bonus. We met several local residents from the neighborhood, who made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff from Coastal Home is very helpful. They kept in contact before and after we arrived to see if there was anything they could do to make the trip even more enjoyable."
"My family has been vacationing in Hilton Head for over a decade and this was one of the best houses we’ve ever rented. The proximity to the beach was a huge plus which allowed quick trips to and from the beach whenever we wanted or needed to do so. For a family that loves to bike around the island, the inclusion of a bike rack off the carport was a great idea. Keep in mind you’re about 3 miles from Harbour Town and 4 miles from South Beach. Not too bad for most kids (and perhaps some adults) but something to consider if you like biking, but would prefer a shorter distance to those locations. The house itself was clean and well furnished. The kitchen easily accommodated several cooks. The dining room table was spacious and comfortably fit our family of nine. The living areas were comfortable and roomy which were conducive for groups of people to play games or watch tv. Perhaps the only critique would be it would have been helpful to have instructions on how to operate the tv remotes. It took a bit of trial and error before I fully understood how to use the remote properly. The pool area was as nice as the house. Plenty of chairs for everyone and plenty of privacy for anyone swimming or lounging around outside. Overall it was a great rental that we would definitely rent again."
"What a wonderful house. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, in a wonderful location and was equipped with Everything we needed. All the mattresses were very comfortable. The attention to detail was phenomenal... the kitchen was supplied with cutlery, pots & pans, cups and plates that exceeded our needs. The dining room and outdoor seating fit the entire family. We have stayed in many houses and this quickly rose to the top of the list of favorites. Thank you."

"Don't look any further! This home is perfect. Lots of room for everyone. The home is perfectly set up too. Big spacious bedrooms with private baths, all with tvs, beautifully decorated like the entire home. Easy walk to the beach, large pool/spa area with a lot of seating areas. The kitchen has everything you need, even a booster and a high chair to boot! Tallley at Costal Home and Villa was super to deal with. She made everything a breeze! Pack your beach towels and head to 12 Sandhill Crane. It was the best! Enjoy!!"
"We are five couples who have vacationed together all along the southeast coast for many years. At the end of our week long stay we unanimously rated 12 Sandhill the best we have ever stayed at. Complete comfort and relaxation was available in every space, indoor and out. Kitchen, dining, Living and family rooms are beautifully furnished and well stocked. Easy walk to the beach, quick drive out the back gate to Coligny shopping. We will be back!"
